Come and see Makalina’s Lei Pasifika Dancers at the 29th Annual CAPA Festival on May 10th at Dag Hammerskjold Plaza located at East 47th Street and 2nd Avenue. They are scheduled to perform around 3:15.  Also check out their booth under the banner of Makalina.  

Lei Pasifika, a company of Polynesian dancers is based in the Chelsea neighborhood at Lotus Music and Dance Studios

Tamara Bejar Hernandez, who is the company’s choreographer has brought this highly technical group to a level not seen in New York.

ˇ        May 4th: Senator Marty Golden's Asian Heritage Celebration in Brooklyn

ˇ        June 5th: Lotus Annual Showcase at the Hudson Guild Theatre in Chelsea.

ˇ        June 14th: Benefit for the Cancer Society
